What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I was told at the dealership and by the insurance company that it's more common than you would think. I'm thinking all of the above as well!

 

Sacrificed the Magnaflow to go back to stock after I painted the stock muffler and pipe black. Looks puny in comparison, but no chrome

Been a while since I’ve posted anything in here. This is everything done since I got back from deployment a month ago.

1. Powder coated rusted method race accent bolts.
2. Got a great deal on brand new set of Rotiform 6 with fresh Open Country’s and sold the methods.
3. Removed some of the graphics before completely removing them.

 

Simple mod, I looked at the mountain hatch and mobtown tail gate options, but they are over $200. This is 1/4” HDPE from Tap Plastics which was $54. Took me longer than expected to install as I only had a little finish router as it wouldn’t close with a 1/4” thickness on the edges. But looks good enough and saves my knees when I’m crawling up....and it was only $54

 

Damn those Kings are beautiful!!

 

Why did you take it off?

 

I've been really tempted to get the mountain hatch but can't justify that price tag. There are a lot more mods I'd rather get before spending $200+ on it. I may just look into doing something similar to you. Thanks for posting!

 

Ron, did you take any pics of the damaged wiring?

 

Ordered matte black 17” pro wheels from BAM Wholesale Parts. Quick processing and shipping, would have been perfect except the FedEx delivery driver dropped one on end in my driveway. So I’m 3 of 4, and pending a replacement for the one damaged.

 

Detailed interior and changed my display off screen.

 

Got new tires and got rid of the mud flaps. (Mud flaps still in the picture though)

 

Could have been worse. Last summer I ordered a milling machine. Good ole FEDEX left it in a driveway 2 blocks from my house. Fortunately, since the woman could not get in her driveway, my neighbors jumped in and brought it to my house. I was at work when the woman came looking for me. Luckily my neighbors were outside at the time. My complaints got nowhere with Fedex. Have refused to use them since.

 

Winjet Black & White Tail Lights. Havent seen them posted anywhere yet. Only blew a fuse once rushing and plugging them in backwards.

 

Not today, but changed up the front end the other week! New RCI front bumper!

I forgot how much I liked the silence and I really hated the chrome tip on it. Considered painting it, but I’ll probably just sell it since the tip was a bit too much for my taste
