From a mechanical standpoint, would a shifter like this work on a second gen?

I am thinking about getting rid of the center console to fab something custom and I like how these work and look just not sure if it would match up.

Mike is the owner and usually answers the phone

They moved us about 1 mile from the temp rental until we closed on the house we're in now. We did the same thing and asked to just move all of our furniture and heavy stuff, moved all boxes ourselves.
Super nice guys and took good care of our stuff.

Anyone know if you can get metri-pack electrical stuff locally? I purchased a bunch of stuff a while ago and finally got around to messing with it only to realize the tangless terminals I ordered don't really hold in the connectors bodies that well. I'd rather not deal with the minimum order size to get the stuff I need if I can get it at a comparable price around town.
