That was just a stock photo I pulled from Google that looked similar to what I saw. Not the actual vehicle I looked at.

Tried to go look at a 2011 Pathfinder this morning. It literally was being driven off the lot having just been sold this morning when I pulled up to the dealership...GRR!!!

Pick up trucks and suv's account for more vehicle sales in the US than sedans.

Part of the reason why domestic brands are pretty much abandoning their sedan lines.

Well, the big push in the next 10 years will be EV. For example, Audi has announced they are killing the iconic TT in preparation. VW has also announced similar reports. Ford, Nissan, and new names like Rivian will be stealing the spotlight in upcoming years. Even Tesla has plans for a affordable crossover, and also plans for a pick-up.

Our poor Tacos will be historic before we know it.

:rofl:tesla make something affordable to the masses that's a good one. They've had those plans since the beginning nothing yet but more higher end stuff.

Abandoning because they can't compete with the imports. They have a vast majority of the SUV CUV market though so they'll put more into that smart move to me.

Well, according to the internet, the base Model 3 comes in at around $35k. That is basically the median average price for a new vehicle in the US. Naturally, just like any other manufacturer, the more bells and whistles you add the more the price goes up.

I haven’t a clue to either question! That’s crazy as hell though.

Have you had bad experiences with Nissan?
You have a knack for finding such tiny clues/things in photos!
Im gonna fill you in on a secret. I buy car/trucks on online auto auctions. All I have to go by when I decide if I will bid & how much is 8 auction house pictures. In them I have to determine as much information about the car as possible. I look for uneven body panel caps, missing engine covers, warning lights on the dash etc.

Nothing turns me off more than a filthy interior. If the previous owner cared little to nothing about the visible aspect of their car, it is highly unlikely that belts fluids and routine maintenance were kept up with.

I had an Altima that the tranny fried and catalytic converters degraded at 104k miles. I could have gotten a Friday special though.
