Well I think I've had enough of the fast car seen & am now looking for something that would just be more practical for me. I'm between a Tacoma, Tundra or Avalanche but leaning towards the Tacoma since I won't really be hauling much more than my dirt bike and would like something a little better on fuel. I'm looking for a 4 door, long bed, 4x4. Here's some specs on what I I've got.

2000 Silver Coupe just turned 40k miles (all mods have about 17k on them and were all purchased brand new, over $16k in parts alone). Stock on outside w/ the exception of Black C6 Z06 wheels & blacked out lights. Car is a solid 9/10. Needs absolutely nothing. This car has not been beat on. It's only been down the track 3 times with a best time of 11.31. This is a proven 10 second package with good traction. It also has perfect street manners. I drive it 40/miles per day back and forth to work and it runs perfectly. I'm located just outside Tampa, FL.

How is it a proven 10 second car when your best time was 11.32?

So he believes his upgrades + better traction would yield a 10 sec run.

sounds fishy to me. Why put 16k in parts when you could just go buy a real zo6 in then end. hmm looks nice though

Nothing fishy about it, I just prefer a targa.

That pass was with a set of 17" DR's running about 27lbs of pressure and stock wheels up front.

    Sweet trade... nice car....
Do yourself a favor and stick with the tacoma and tundra's to trade with... Ditch the Avalanche.

    Because a 11.31 will spank a C6 Z06.

    Nice car!

Not interested (I have a corvette already :D)

    It's an Automatic.....:p

Why not sell it outright? www.cars.com, www.autotrader.com, craigslist, ebay, etc.

How long have you owned it?

First thing I noticed.... got time slips for the 11.3? I would bet someone running that would hold on to those.

Thanks guys. I bought it in May '09 with 24,000 miles and haven't had to do anything other than change the oil in it. I do have it for sale locally as well as on corvetteforum & ls1tech, I just get the itch every year of so for something new and when I trade I save in taxes. I don't have any time slips but I do have this video of the pass.

Can't figure out how to embed the vid on this site but it's post 3 over on ls1tech.

    http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/vehic...ge-rpm-a4-dte-rear-tampa-fl.html#post13706955

And yes this car will put a good smacking on a C6Z.

    2006 Corvette Z51 M6. Best mod ever!

I would not buy a Vette with out a targa top either. Good looking C5!

For the mods in this car it would spank a stock Z06, but I still prefer the Z06.

Still a sexy car, bump for the seller. I've always loved vettes, and will eventually have one someday.

    I'm asking $25k.

Thanks, yeah these motors respond great to mods. But you're right, the LS7's respond even better. lol.

Hard to sell a Corvette...boat...or motorcycle nowadays, with the economy most don't have the disposable cash for lux toys.

I have many friends over on corvetteforum and they are having a hard time selling them there even...that site was always the mainstay for selling a good clean Vette. I know, I sold 2 of them there myself...and quick...back in 2006.

I thought about selling my last C6 there...but I got a great deal on the front end buying a new leftover '09, so I was able to trade it in and not take it in the shins too badly.

You may just look into trading it in to a dealer for a new Tacoma.

    Good luck
