I wonder if the dealership makes money off of these incidents though. I mean insurance should look at it as missed sale potential and the dealership gets paid more than they have in them.

so I still haven't gotten the "go ahead" from Boeing to tell my current company I'm leaving, but my boss leaves tomorrow for vacay and 2 weeks of work travel, my owner is out for memorial day as of now, and my COO is leaving today for a family death.

I decided today was the day to pre-inform them I would be leaving, a "pre-2-week notice" if you will.

they all took it so well, and understood completely, and gosh that just feels so good. I'm so thankful to have been here for the last nearly 4 years because these people are good people and good to me. I can breathe easy again lol

We pack a tent and sometimes we pack a hammock. With backpacking, you can see places that you can't get to by vehicle. We love the primitive, remoteness that comes with backpack camping. Far, far away from any people or civilization. We have hiked 15 miles into a place before and spent 3 days and 2 nights in the woods. With nothing but what we have in our packs. It's really satisfying and really good exercise as well.

 

Yeah, your very first backpacking trips are going to be the biggest lessons on what and what not to bring. We have our packs down to about 30-35lbs and it's every thing we need to camp out in the woods for a night or two. 19 miles is a good clip, even for those who have been doing it for a while! Did that hike kick your ass?

Gonna be soon. I need to go pick my springs up from the junkyard soon. Just got to pick a 3 day weekend to do it.

That’d be ideal if I can. Need to finish up your trailer bars before anything else though. I got the brackets made, just need to bend some tubing.

 

I’m getting a good deal on an ARB Twin here soon. Anyone here run an air tank with their compressor? Also, what type of fittings work best for this compressor since I know it can get super hot. Probably going to mount it under the hood and try and plumb in a tank if it’s not too big a deal.
