    Nope, not at all.

How long was the Pelfrey site up and running after they filed bankruptcy and within how many hours after this thread is posted does their site get closed down. Seems to me they are taking this seriously and if so, would say something soon or within the next few days after consulting legal counsel.

    No, didn’t say that.

Are you kidding? They were at an expo taking orders 4 days ago. Pretty sure they had an indication they were going under. Not to mention a post expo sale this whole week and a website that wasn’t shut down until well after they posted a closed photo on their FB.

And their email conveniently left out mention of refunds. I know a guy who just paid the remaining 50% on a bumper balance per their request. Hmmm....

No, not kidding and unless your in their shoes trying to salvage what you can, all you can do is assume their intentions just like I am.

True but the indication is a mini Pelfrey situation. If I’m 4 days away from BK I’m not taking your money.

So, FYI, I paid $1k to pelfrey on a bumper, deployed a few months, came home and they were tits up. I called VISA and explained it, they refunded me in 2 days.
Alllllll that interest we pay on CC is actually insurance. Cash is not King!

When I was there they didn’t have racks of products. Maybe their tools and stuff but not much inventory.

I feel bad for the dudes who now have to jump through hoops to get their money back as well as the good shops out there that no doubt get their consumer confidence drug through the mud because of crap like this.

Well, having never owned a business that’s close to or in BK so I can’t say what I would or wouldn’t do.

Yep, I do to. I used a CC So no big deal except a few wasted weeks of lead time. I’ll never use a debit card or cash for large purchases.

Yep, owned a business that was doing ok. It was negatively impacted by the election so I started taking measures to make sure that existing orders were fulfilled, leaving enough left over to refund any random returns for the next few months.
I also communicated clearly and honestly with my customers throughout the process.

It’s a foreign concept to many business owners.
