If I recall this right isnt there a shaft that runs from the nose cone pully end to the back of the charger housing. Did that shaft if plausible get bent by the previous owner, causing a slight rubbing of parts. Making things bind and lock up?

Do you have a dial indicator and lathe to check the run out on?

I wasn’t even looking, just scrolling thru fb marketplace lol. I’d love to have one but have no clue about them to even ask intelligent questions yet. Good thing I can’t afford it or I’d end up buying a bad condition one without everything included lol

At $850 I imagine it's due for a rebuild especially since its the older first generation 3.4l supercharger, but even still that's a good deal.

I got mine for less than that I think. Needed almost all the parts and rebuilt though.

    Working on it
Compressor 6 gal Sears. Worked great. Yeah the green was a great color. But at 17 years old and the original owner liked banging into trees and rocks she was ready for a makeover. I am in the desert and this color is much better for it.

Everything is okay with me and the truck. Just planning to move to Georgia in the next year or so and long travel wont do me any good out there. Ill definitely buy another first gen once I'm out there unless I can find a first gen quad cab to trade for my truck

Still think you should move to AZ instead... then you'd still be able to use the long travel

This is true about the long travel but it's hard to decide where to move because of the fact that my best friends which I consider a brother and sister moved out there 3 years ago. I've visited 4 times in the last 3 years and have enjoyed it everytime.
