    Just found this thread after searching for black grills for my Tacoma I bought last week. I went back and looked at the original post and I am not tracking on the difference between with and without garnish. Can you explain the difference? Will place my order as soon as I get that figured out. Thanks!

    The garnish is the shiny plastic cover in the bottom middle part of the the grill that properly protects a safety sense radar in 2018-2019 Tacomas. 2016-2017 models don't need it because no radar. This grill has the option to add the garnish so if you ever want to change styles and resell the grill it will fit all 2016-2020 Tacomas, just that the future owner, if 2018+, will have to buy and add the OEM garnish for their safety sense radar to operate properly. Without the garnish there is a removable cover thats comes with the grill in that spot that matches the look of the grill.
    I get mine tomorrow, no garnish '17 TRD Off-road

    I’m obviously biased but these sell fairly well, if meso happened to put out something that you like better I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to sell this one and get most of your money back...
