    When I drive 70 or 75 I get 23 to 24 mpg. When I first got my truck I could only get 330 to 370 miles to a tank . Now I am getting 440 to 460 a tank .

Sure you don't have your display set to imperial gallons? If you were really getting 30+mpg you should be getting nearly 600 miles to a tank.

If you fuel up when the light comes on, 460mi/~18gal is 25.5 mpg. That's much more realistic.

Well that 32 mpg was yesterday on a 97 mile trip one way . Cruise was set to 65mph. It’s the fuel gauge I guess would the instant fuel mileage as you are driving down the road . Know I don’t think I have it set to that . I have not changed and settings since getting my truck new .

If you had just filled the tank up and then we're coasting the computer will read high numbers like 32.

I'm still at 18.5 to 19.5 hand calculated tank averages. Mixed driving, sometimes pulling trailers.

18.3 Mpg lifetime average over 30,000 miles.

I rarely travel all highway but when I do I can usually get 21-22mpg.

I think these numbers are pretty decent for a mid size truck.

    I came from a 5.3L V8 GM 1500 which got 15.5mpg city and 15.5mpg highway.

I have gone 200 miles since my last fill up and have not even used half a tank yet.

For a frame of reference, I am the original owner of my 2017 Off Road, DCSB, 6 MT, 36K total miles at present, still bone stock all around.

My daily work commute is 50 miles round trip, 40 of that is highway. Elevation changes from 200' (work) to 1900' (home). I generally travel at a fairly consistent 70 MPH on the hignway.

I track my mileage with Fuelly app on my iPhone, as I don't trust the vehicles computer to correctly estimate how much fuel it thinks has been consumed. You can see my currently MPG economy in my .sig below.

Here in Denver (5280 ft+) I average 20-22, but on a recent road trip to Kansas it dropped to 16-ish but the engine felt MUCH stronger. Altitude matters.

I find that the onboard computer actually matches up pretty close with hand calculating, most of the time its usually within + or - .1

    A few.
Im finding it to be pretty close so far also. My 2007 Tundra was usually about 1 mpg off and my Dodge Ram was 3 mpg off.

I've only filled up twice since I've had mine, first tank averaged 18.5 and second 17.5. I only live 4.6 miles from work, and my mileage is based on timing. Sometimes I can catch all the lights green and get 20mpg going to work, or I'll catch every red and get 15. Going home is a different story. I book it home and the traffic is heavier 2pm than at 5am. I'm consistently in the mid 20's on Highway stuff, though, as long as I keep it 70 or below.

Unfortunately, I get horrible mileage. In every car I have owned I would always average just above the upper-end averages, but this car I seem to get about 4 miles less MPG than anyone. I have 11k miles on the truck and there was only one tank that I averaged above 15.9 MPGs! I changed tires from Pro Comp Xtreme MT2 to Falkens and my MPGs are still at 15.2 over about 300 miles of mixed driving. I live in the central valley of California, so pretty much one of the flattest places in the state too.

The silver lining is that work pays for gas, but I still hate the mileage.
