My father drove an ambulance in the 70's and was called to a crash where a lady ran off the road and hit a tree while putting on mascara.

They had to remove her eye, because the mascara brush impaled it.

I could NEVER put something pointy near my eye in a car - in motion or not! Stuff happens way to fast - too risky. I'm baffled by some of the stuff I see on the road. It was worse when I used to commute but now I work from home. I've seem people shaving, applying makeup (not the same person!) - even saw a dude with a bowl of cereal one morning.......

    Agreed!
It's bad enough having all kinds of heavy projectiles around you like yeti cups and cell phones, but to have something right up in your eye going down the road? Yikes.

I drive a service truck for work, I see this kind of shit all the time. One day they're gonna hit me and die and I'll be fine because my truck weighs 17,000lbs. Idiots.

On the way to work, 5 30 ish am there's always a girl who puts makeup on at red lights. Always someone honking for here to go when it turns. Makes me laugh

All I have to worry about are deer crossing the road, makes me super attentive when I have to go down to the valley and experience bumper to bumper traffic on a freeway or all those lanes. Then ya gotta worry about someone shooting you. Hope I don't flat.

I sit in traffic everyday. People get upset at drivers on their phone, but I see SO MANY women putting on makeup while driving down the highway in dense stop and go driving. It is so frustrating.

I think the highway patrol needs to deploy drones and take photos of plates and perps like they do for people who run red lights and send them a ticket in the mail. :)
