They approved mine with my pics last year.

Go to body shop and see if they can patch it. Insurance may cover it under comprehensive.

This is my frame. Only took a few weeks to come in. They are waiting on the hardware but said the job should start in under two weeks.

Nice! Shouldn't be too long. What are your plans for corrosion resistance once you get your truck back?

I don't really have a plan a such. I guess washing the frame is the obvious. Will Toyota rust proof the frame?

So how long is everyone waiting for their frames? Mine was inspected and failed November 5th 2018. It's been over 6 months and dealer says they don't know when the new one is coming in.

Woah! I had mine inspected Jan 31st, and frame replacement finished by April 24th... 3 1/2 months total. I'm in Washington state.

Unbelievable! My frame came in in three weeks. They said they will start working on it in under two weeks. Are you in a loaner??

Did the frame and all the parts (hardware/bolts) come in at the same time?

Mine came in at various stages, not all at once. I think the frame came in first followed by the special ordered parts kits.

Add mine to the list. Inspected, passed and undercoated in 2014... DOFU+12yrs middle of next month. Had it reinspected and fail 5/6/19, in a loaner TRD 5/14...told the frame would take 3-4 weeks to get in (we'll see, lol).

So I'm going to go back through this thread, but is there a recommended list of items to have addressed while it's blown apart?

OK, this frame thing and all the posts has me paranoid. I just bought a 2009 Tacoma AC that had just passed the frame inspection and then a couple of months ago they sprayed that black $hit on it. The dealer says I am good to go. My Date in Service is April 2009, please save me a LOT of reading and tell me what extra care or steps should I take to prevent issues in the future? I have my vehicles sprayed with RustCheck rust preventative every year. Thanks

Sounds like you've got till April of 2021 to fail. At this point since they sprayed CRC on it, all you can do is inspect every now and then. Id tap on spots with a ball pien or welders hammer before and after each winter. Focus on the spot near the catalytic converters, and along any and all weld seams (where my dads 08 failed), as well as all around the front leaf spring mounts. Spray fluid film on anything that looks suspicious, its totaly fine to spray it on top of the Toyota CRC. The more wet and greasy you keep the frame, the better off you are.
