Got bored on my way to go on vacation so I decided to bounce a buzzard off of my windshield at about 55 mph. I could have been MUCH worse. Was able to get it home after about an 1 1/2 hour drive. Fortunately Safelite was able to get me in for tomorrow afternoon and it is a $0 deductible through my insurance.

 

Damn, I never thought a buzzard would do that much damage.

 

I wouldn't have thought so either. The damn thing was flying away with about 4 or 5 other ones and just dropped down right in front of me out of nowhere. Didn't even have enough time to lift off the gas.

 

Thule 480 traverse foot pack and 1827 fit kit w/ 50” bars. The bars fit just right with no overhang on either side.

That's the thing with these trucks. They are designed with ~1.25 to 2.0" of rake from the factory. So as soon as they are 'leveled' they will appear to lean back.
