Hes retired with 41,000 posts. I'm guessing he doesn't have anything better to do with his time.

I’ve been layin off the overtime a bit. Worked 6 days a week the past 4 years plus a good bit of side work after my regular job. The real nail in the coffin was last summer working 7 days a week for 3 months straight..... by the end of it I’m pretty sure I was showing early symptoms of dementia. And my house and yard upkeep went :poking:

Sue Rahr got rid of PT at the academy and instilled the "guardian" rhetoric and more now than ever you have people doing the job that have no business doing it. No excuse to be a fatass first responder.

And then you look at the ones saying that and they are beat to shit, hurt/sore all the time, and usually in debt over buying some sort of toy. Least thats how most of the old timers who work tons of overtime here are.

Then you have the old timers who are that way and tell the younger guys to F that and to work as little OT as possible, push to get off the deckplates and to just save as much $$ as they can.

That is true, some of us didn’t have to eat a box of crayons, give rusty trombones or beat our wives to find the chair haha

I’ll let you figure out which is which! :plane:
