Raising grain soaks up stain better is the only reason. I agree 100 percent about using a jointer and planers. Most people don’t have em though.

That's true. Me and my dad got lucky and have inherited some really nice stuff from my grandpa who got it from his dad who was a true craftsman making custom furniture. We also have a killer lathe. Personally I like using all the hand planes and joiners and stuff. It's relaxing to spend hrs and hrs making stuff all with hand tools.

Also when I do a table top or something like your bars doors I cut slots and use biscuits. That tends to help a lot as well.

That would be my choice too. I like a little bit of the rusticness the grey brings.

    Thread?

I liked Eddy's idea from last yr is either renting or putting all the canopies together in the middle. It will force people to hang out with each other and not have clicks.

I almost went steel but I have a rake now on 887s and didn't want to risk more rake.

If you have a mortgage- the bank owns the home- and they have also been defrauded. Get an independent appraisal and inspection. You may decide to walk- after submitting the info to the bank. May also have a discussion with your homeowners ins agent.

    NOT correct.

Your MIL is keeping you and your wife cash poor, while living in horrible conditions.

    100% Correct.

I really like the fact that they do that at no additional charge. That and the free shipping and reasonable price is what got my business for my kings.

Yeah you could always get the heavier springs. 886s I think is what they are? :anonymous: Not 100% sure.

well homeowners insurance didn't cover a dime not even the mold ..I've fixed everything now. I have lived here over a yr now. And didn't know anything was wrong until we went to replace flooring.. I was talking to a friend that is in home loans and he was saying if I did inform my mortgage company they would have a new inspection pulled but would be responsible for anything they found extra if not up to par

Oh well then that sucks. I thought you were getting some new goodies. It would be good to get the stuff to nitro fill and find some cheap well used shocks to practice rebuilding so that I don't have to send them off or find someone localish to do it. Don't think I want a spare set of 14" kings to put on while waiting for others to be rebuilt.
