Yeah, it's been as wet as I can remember here this Winter and Spring.
Now, I realize it's an order of magnitude more serious for you folks in the Midwest.
    Sorry. :(

But we've had many bridges on secondary closed due to the approaches being flooded.
Not for long, mind you, but this is unusual. Hardly any of PA is flat.

The only major rivers are the Ohio (and Allegheny and Monongahela which form it at Pittsburgh)...
...the Susquehanna, a big wide fast flowing river, the watershed for most of the state...
...and the Delaware, which hardly counts, being the border with New Jersey.

So most streams and rivers aren't very large.
Water normally runs off quickly and small rivers crest and fall fairly quickly as well.

Speaking of Jersey, Pennsylvanians love it, they really do. :)
Makes PA seem like paradise by comparison:

Q: Why is New Jersey called the Garden State?
A: Because Oil, Petroleum, Nuclear, Land Fill, & Toxic Waste State didn't fit on a license plate!

Q: Why does California have the most lawyers, and New Jersey, the most toxic waste dumps?
A: New Jersey got first pick!

Q: Why couldn't the baby Jesus be born in New Jersey?
A: Because they couldn't find 3 wise men or a virgin.

Q: What's the only thing that grows in Newark?
A: The swelling from your head from getting jacked!

That really meant something once upon a time.
Now they make those huge hay bales or cylinders and leave them out in the fields.

On old family farms, hay was stored in the barn, in the hay loft.
It had to be just right.
Too dry and a lot of its nutritional value as fodder was lost.
Too wet and it would ferment and/or get moldy.
It might even spontaneously combust. Many barn fires started that way.

Hay, those round bales are illegal. The cows aren't getting 3 square meals.

Ok, I have truly wondered why you see those big round ones sitting, but very rarely would you see "normal" bales sitting out long.

Oh, I am well aware. I did 200 acres of hay during highschool. We stacked it all by hand too. No bale elevators.
