Lol, damn those Yota engineers are slick

 

So while replacing the oriellys cv axle with a warranty one, the new one has a seal that none of my old ones did. On the nut end of the shaft that goes into the hub.

Is it that needed to warrant taking the other side apart and swapping the driver side out with a new one as well? They both only had the seal in the hub since probably 3 years and a good 50k miles

 

When I first got trasnfered to the laptop repair dept at my old work, they told me to report to a lead named Carlos Martinez. I finally got pointed in the right area, went up to this small "couldn't look any more Asian" dude & told him I was looking for Carlos Martinez, he said that was him. I stood there confused af for like 30 secs until I realized he was Filipino.

Um...... NO.

I wouldn't trust myself to even attempt resurfacing a cyl head. Engine machining machines are quite different than a typical mill.

What engine does it have in it anyway?

Do a 1UZ swap. Or better yet do a 1GZ swap just so you can rock a V12 emblem.

 

So I’m sitting here at Costco tire, a dude brings in a rim with less tire on it than fabric on a stripper’s g string and asks if they can balance it and no he doesn’t want a replacement.

You can not .60 over a 5vz. Unless your talking about the vans engine

I don't even know why I asked, not like I would know what it is anyway. I just remember them being 4 cyl. My friends mom had one, that thing was so fun to hang turns in. Don't mind me, I'll stop posting now.
