No one talks about Easter Diamondbacks, which are much larger.
They're very common in the Deep South.

I lived in Sebring for a year.
When I first got there, I took a temporary job preparing the regional airport for a NASCAR race.
The Coca Cola 400 or something, I forget.

I was pulling apart a barrier made of old tires and disturbed a nest of them.
And they were very unhappy about it.
Wow did I ever jump! I put my shovel to good use. :)
Don't worry, there are plenty left.
And they ain't gentlemanly and rather lazy like PA Timber Rattlers.
Timber Rattlers will give you plenty of warning and gotta be plenty provoked to bite. Usually.

My uncle who lived in Lake Placid south of Sebring once killed a Diamondback in his lawn.
It was thicker than my upper arm and more than 6 feet long.

Meh, don't like any of the poll choices.
My Tacoma is my favorite vehicle ever.

If I had to pick a car, I'd say a Mazda Miata.
I dunno why it's called a girly car.
It's like an old style English sports car, very small and agile.
    But reliable. :p

A friend back in the early 70s had a Fiat Spyder.
About the same size. It was a blast to drive.
Too bad it was so fall-apart-y and unreliable.
    Fix It Again, Tony.

I see a lot of the big round nails around here. But I also see quite a bit of the square bails. I don’t really ever see if left in the field though. All put up in barns/pole sheds or sometimes tarped.
