What makes you say that, you can make that a legal engine swap. The rule is same year engine or newer, and you maintain all the emissions equipment.

 

But it'll have the funny whistle sound that they all make! WTF makes that sound anyway, I always wondered.

Yeah, you can do that. That’s legal. It doesn’t have to be from the same make.

I’m debating putting a hitch on the Merc E320 to tow my trailer around. It has a higher towing capacity than my truck.

 

Naw, many 1st gen Previas made a whistling sound when they got old. Figured it was some kind of defect on the intake. It was really common & noticeably loud.

 

That guy (Bubb Rubb) is infamous on the internet from his appearance. That news segment aired on our local news station about 15 years ago.

 

Super charger bearing wear. Probably no one rebuilt the SC lol

 

That would make sense. Man there must have been a lot of supercharged models, well around here anyway.

Mount one on the steering wheel. Don't forget to post the look on the cop's face whenever you get pulled over.

 

At this point if you want to save that truck I’d tow it to a frame shop and make sure the frame is straight. I know the frame horns are bent but you can fix those I believe.

Front apron and core support is easy to replace. Just a lot of spotwelds.
