Aluminum has been increasing at a crazy rate based on speculation alone, wages are going up to keep good talent in the current market, health care costs are increasing, shipping costs are increasing, etc, etc... US based manufacturing is getting more expensive every day. Just the way it is :annoyed:

It's why you are seeing shops shut their doors, or move product manufacturing overseas. We value American jobs and Amercian craftsmanship, so we do what we can to stay competitive.

Our fairing isn't wide enough to fit a 48" rack. Just checked.

Got it. I worry about attaching to those captured nuts on the factory roof without the rigidity of a full rack. Once the rack is bolted together it resists twisting and other leverages on those nuts; basically just putting them all in sheer as one unit.

If it was just a single bar I don't know how well they would handle any rotational load. The bolts are only like 6mm.

So if this is the side view, this force worries me. Not only for hardware failure but for causing leaks.

I hadn’t thought of that. I imagine that is why the new Rhino system replaces the roof ditch weatherstripping with a complete track. Mostly for the strength I’m guessing.

If we don't have them in stock, 10-12 business days. With the run of orders from Expo and this coupon code, I would assume we don't have any more in stock currently.

I just found your stuff from this thread. I'll be buying a victory rack shortly, and I would consider selling my current front bumper and getting yours if you had aluminum as an option.

I'm in San Diego now but I went to school in Kalamazoo, I'll gladly support your Oberon habit.

Ive been wanting a Prinsu for a while but seeing this here, Im thinking bout pulling the trigger on the Victory. The price of the Prinsu has definitely been a set back for me. With the Memorial discount its hard to pass up on this Victory rack. Glad I came across this thread. I do like the Uptop rack but cant really justify that price at all lol Besides the styling I dont really see a difference between Victory and Prinsu. Can anybody give me a reason to not go with the Victory over a Prinsu at this point? Lal

@monkeyevil Looking at getting one of your roof racks. Leaving on a cross-Canada trip middle of June.

    What's the current lead time?

WMU or K? I'm actually drinking an Oberon at the campfire right now.

Oh yeah, aluminum front coming this summer!

    My sunroof works perfect

10-15 business days to ship right now. If you order this weekend it "should" be good. But I don't want to ruin a trip if something comes up. :fingerscrossed:
