    What’s happening TW...
I’m looking for a great shop, nearish to Boulder, to install new shocks, and leaf springs.
I had originally planned on installing myself, but I think it would be better to have someone with far more experience than myself, to tackle the job.
    Thank you, for any recommendations!

I know the owner personally and have worked with him before he opened ToyCrawlers. Great shop not too far away in Broomfield area. Planning on having my lift and welding performed by him in the future.

Ya, I supported my axle with a floor jack and stands and kept an eye on the line!

Thanks for the links and suggestions, scooter.
I actually had planned on installing myself, but every time I watch a new install video, I learn something new lol!

I’m still undecided, and actually want to install myself, but I’m simply apprehensive.
    Thanks again!

If you're doing front and back, just give yourself the weekend and go slow. I took two full days to do my front and back. The hardest thing was reinstalling the upper control arm in the front. It's all just bolts, so as long as you have the right sockets you're good. I'm no mechanic. Im a tech nerd and work in a data center, and I did this by myself. Save yourself $500, take you're time, keep reference material handy. Easy peasy!

I just did my suspension yesterday. And I wanted to give a shout out to DIY Autoshops. I could have kind of easily done the job crawling around the floor with a couple of jacks and stands, but having a lift made it so much more easy and comfortable. The price was also very reasonable and there were definitely a couple of tools and random socket sizes I would have had to make extra trips to the store for if I didn't have access to all of their tools.

I would recommend doing your own suspension/lift to anyone with even a minimum amount of comfort with tools. There is nothing overly challenging about it at all.
