Well, my weekend plans just fell apart. Now I’m trying to figure out something to do over the long weekend. Anyone know of any trails I can run is SW MO or NW AR? Maybe even some dispersed camping options? Thanks!

Trans Missouri trail. @Cav_BluTRD and I just ran the north half last weekend.

You can disperse camp nearly anywhere in the National forest. IOverlander is your friend. Or freecampsites.net

I have been looking into this trail. It looks like it’s designed for motorcycles. I assume it’s still wide enough for a Tacoma though. Are there any unique rules to driving this trail since it’s for bikes? It looks like part of it might be down near Branson which isn’t to far from me at all so I may try it out. I assume with all the rains this week that the water crossings are gonna be crazy deep this weekend though huh?

I also stumbled upon something called the glade top trail. Looks beginner friendly but it’s only 23 miles long so would only be a couple hours of driving and looking around. I might try that one this weekend.

Edit: it looks like iOverlander is just for camping spots. Doesn’t have routes on it. Is that right?

I took a tundra. You’ll be fine. It’s a bunch of linked together forest service, gravel, dirt roads. Water wasn’t bad last weekend.

Correct. IOverlander is for camping spots.

I’ve only got 3 nights in it so far but it’s amazing - including one in torrential rain. I’ll be back down there at some point to finish the trail (or others) if you want to check it out in person

Yeah, I am anxious to get out and start learning what our truck can do and what mods need to be made. I’ll be watching for any trips even remotely close to my area! Thanks!

They probably don’t close the trail.

I doubt they’d pay me for a picture lol they have their own advertising team. I use be a photographer when I lived in Vegas years back.
