Next up calibrate the speedo, I’m sure it’s off a bit with these new tires. Or should I not worry about such a small technicality??

 

I actually now have lime tree green, which is a very bright green. Just add a note requesting it.

Suspension went on. CMC + tires next.

Had my truck serviced yesterday. K0B - UPDATE PCS SOFTWARE AND APPLY SEALER (REPAIR A). I really like the way it shifts now also. There must have been another software update but it isnt listed in the service record. Last month I put GTR Mini LED low-beam bulbs in. What a difference.

 

IDEAS.....So I'm doing a few things and have an issue. While taking the door panels off and the triangular cover at the of the door, 2 clip holders fell inside the door. I've taken the speaker out and figured they would be in the inside bottom of the door but guess what...I cant find them anywhere inside the door. I'm going to continue my search as I continue to work but has anyone had this issue and possibly found where they may be hiding?

 

I filled up with Ethanol free gas... probably the 2nd most expensive mod this month.

 

This happened to me a few years ago. I bought new ones on eBay. They were cheap and worked. The original one I lost is somewhere in my door panel very lonely.

 

Lol...I'm sure it is lonely. Thanks for the link and will use this as an option. Just baffles the hell out of me as to where they are. At least I lost 2 to keep each other company on their journey to nowhere

Hypertech makes a calibrator you can install in line behind your dash.

 

I can tell you that most likely every owner that has removed the sail panels have lost those clips. Most likely hiding at the bottom where the inner and outer door panels come together. If you have a scope camera or perhaps use your cell phone and video the inside bottom of the door you might find the clips. After I found mine I covered the holes with tape and then cut a slit in the tape. This fills the cavity a bit.

They are matte black, but the sun was just dipping over the houses across the street so I was getting some extra glare on the truck.

 

If you take the bottom two black tape off, you'll see the clip an inch below it. I fished it out with a coat hanger with sticky tape at the end. Fingers can't reach down the crevice.
