Discounting 2019 Pro

Getting my truck serviced and found this Pro discounted $5000. Koons Westminster Toyota.

 

Basically back to MSRP...

 

And yet still overpriced

 

I did not need to see this

 

It has a snorkel, bro

 

The economy is starting to show signs of stress and Karen won't be denied her six hots at Applebee's per week, but maybe if her husband Bob can show her it's "on sale" she'll allow him to trade up.

 

In my area that would be a 'great' price. Dealers in my area don't even want to haggle on Pro's. Price too high? Then here let me show you the ORs.

 

The reality is the Pro is too much money for what it really is.

 

Actually the sale price shown in the OP is slightly lower than the MSRP on my OR. Won't debate the value of the Pro vs the OR because it can be subject to a person's wants but the dealer's here won't haggle. Even if it means the Pro sits there collecting dust.

 

Black off road truck and a stupid fake snorkel. Wtf were they thinking?

 

Snorkel = $5K reduction, minimum

Great price compared to my local dealership:

 

i was talking to the sales guy at koons in annapolis, he said that the pro's with the snorkel are not selling very well locally.

 

The desert intake is completely unnecessary outside of the western states, where there is actually desert terrain. I’m surprised Toyota ships Pros with the intake to midwestern, southern, and northeast states. The only real advantage is that it completes the mall crawling bro look.

 

It’s not a Tacoma, but it’s the first time in my local area I’d seen a discount on any model of a PRO

Who pays $43k for a truck with herpes (dorkel)?

 

We have 3 Pros with the Desert Air Intake at my dealership and they are all old age vehicles at this point. When the 2019’s came out our region ordered them all with the intake and that was a big mistake. Toyota also doubled Pro production this year which didn’t help. We’ve been treating them like any other Tacoma price wise recently.
That one at Koon’s has a ton of extras on it ($2385) and they’ve had it for 179 days.

 

Noooo, its super special limited production and will be a collector's car someday, don't you know, pssh...

 

How else will the shoppers at the mall know I'm a serious off roader?

 

If you call that a discount,I call it reducing to the regular price from a huge markup price.
