Alittle practice with the new MIG welder and tube bender. Because some of us like to camp where there are no trees AND sleep in a hammock.

Damn that thing looks good. What size KM3's are you running? I'm patiently waiting the release of the 285/75/17 but my patience is running thin....

Figured i'd post this since it's a common topic. Trimmed away some fender liner and bumper for my 285/70/17's using my girlfriend's kitchen scissors and the pocket knife she bought me for christmas needles to say it no longer rubs at full lock. Not to sure what the offset is but it doesn't hit the control arm or cab mount either. Even tested the flex and was still able to get a finger in between the tire and UCA but no more than that [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] I don't even believe the truck is lifted though it's on some extremely shitty Pro Comp struts that are stiffer than hell. Anyone know what measurements I can take or what to look at to determine whether or not it's been lifted?

So, my measurements aren't EXACT but close enough. If a stock hub to fender measurement is about 20.25" up front and 22" in the rear on a stock tire size of 265/70r16 and im getting about 24" up front and 25" in the rear with 285/70r17 its safe to say it's running a 3in lift kit?

What's the factory measurements? Front/rear. I wanna see how much lift I got from tires. Went from 245/75r16 to 265/75r16 last year.
Forgot to measure original height but I'm @ 22.5 up front & 23.75 in rear now

Is that the factory height? I have a access cab. Idk how much that differs between cab configurations though...

I have an access cab as well, from other people's numbers a factory height should be about 20 1/4" up front and 22" in the rear and whatever the "taco lean" difference is on the passenger side

I am surprised the bars don't pull in towards the middle when you lay in the hammock, that is a lot of leverage on them!
