Won’t happen. You need a warrant (I’m totally serious) to have Apple unlock it for you.

There was a huge controversy about it a while ago.

This one has stayed in my area its whole life, and has the same dealer I take mine to do all its maintenance . Pretty much guaranteed to have very limited rust.

There’s a way to get around it, if it isn’t iCloud locked it’s a little easier. Most of the time a password locked iDevice is bricked in exception of the Apple computers which can be wiped.

If you don’t want to access the info you can wipe it, not entirely sure how to do it. Try one of those iPhone jailbreak places.

One of very few things I appreciate about Apple and was shocked to find out they stood up the feds when feds demanded they unlock a phone. Apple said F U and I was so shocked... If they weren't proprietary everything and owners so lemming minded I might consider it.... Might.

yep and essentially, apple stated that they couldn't unlock it - a warrant was pointless. that whole battle surrounded the govt forcing them to write software to perform the unlock which they argued would introduce a security issue in itself. Before the case could proceed, the FBI/Govt pulled out and claimed they had unlocked the device with other means.

Snowden was right about one thing, don't think for a minute that your device is safe from anyone. Everything and anything you do can be seen or traced. The internet/devices will never be "private".

Yup GD Patriot Act..... They snookered us. Had it go through legislation right after 911. Of course everyone will vote for it then..... Besides the wisest of wise men. Ron Paul. He saw the writing on the wall and knew exactly what was going on

Haven't heard of it. I go cheap on phones. Since I don't finance them, or don't wanna pay a lot
