Versatile when you need to haul stuff. Also great for the dogs with the sides rolled up and they still have shade.

I mean I feel like it'd be the same as taking out the patch from Jansport backpacks back in high school lol. Those threads should easily come off with a knife

    Hi,
just looking for feedback/review from people that got the doggie window option (opening that is cut into front softopper window ). Do you use it? Any issues? Would you choose it again if ordering another topper? I emailed Softopper and they stated it is not listed on the site but is a $20.00 call-in order option.
Thanks and have a great day

Do you also grind off the name brands from the side of your tires, unsew/peel the label off your favorite jacket or shoes?

Honestly, if it's a great product while doing what it is intended to do, and you are happy with it, then why not let the company have some advertisement, do they not deserve it? What's the worst thing that could happen?

I don’t think it’s $20. There’s an option for it on their site. We are talking about the Softopper brand?

I don’t see it being a need. You’re better off just rolling up the back windows. If it gets real hot where you live then having that screen mesh wouldn’t be a good idea anyways.

As a matter fact, I have taken brandings off some of my personal belongings. Not everything. If I think that removing a badge/logo/sticker will make whatever it is more clean and more simple looking, I will absolutely consider removing the badge/logo/sticker. Similar reasoning behind people removing the Tacoma badging of thier truck.

Jeez are you the Justice police or something. Sometimes people don't think the labeling is fitting to their style. For me, their phone number just bothers me but if they just had their logo it'd be cool.

As for your opinion, I respect it but shouldn't be applied to everyone's taste.

I anticipated some replies would be seen as me trying to police a decision made by a grownup. That's just how some folks on TW and many other online groups react to someone trying to understand something.

It is absolutely your stuff, and you are certainly free to do as you like with it without being policed. I was just trying to understand it as it hasn't ever crossed my mind to do such a thing.

    Do your thing.

I mean if you say you're a grown up then you should already understand people do things to their own stuff through their own way and perspective...

    tacojohn4x4,
    Yep $20.00 option.
Nope not on Softopper website. Not the rear mesh option more of a front window pass-through flap.

Had to email them about it and just quoting them. " We do offer a doggie window option for $20.00 which is an opening that we cut into the front softopper window. This is not listed on our site, so you will need to call in your order."
While I do appreciate your opinion , I'm really looking for feedback form someone that chose the option.

    Thanks

    Really?

Of course, people do things to their own stuff, through their own way and perspective. What is wrong with getting an understanding of something?
Clearly, you've never asked another person how they came to doing something that you didn't understand.

Why do we bother conversing with other humans (whether online or in person) if we can just stick to our own thoughts and never try to understand something?
No need to, as we are completely good within ourselves.

Savoia, there is no need to take this personal, or feel judged. People do what people do, I was interested in the "why".

I guess we're just two very different people. I don't question others about their methods until it crosses into my business. I would rather observe and see if it's worthy to incorporate into my own life.

How about starting your own thread?

"How to avoid butt hurt and hurting feelings"

Common guys. Let's get back to the Soft Topper topic.
