Either she's got the wrong canyon name or that is not a 'hike'. Strike Two is a technical canyoneering route requiring climbing gear and ropes. I hope that's just a little misunderstanding or communication and they were prepared for whatever they were attempting. Or they decided they weren't and just went somewhere else, maybe just got the wrong canyon in a good way and not worse. It's a pretty remote area, and if they've already checked Burr then I would expect they would have checked the access road for the canyon and the place along the exit road where the shuttle would have been parked - there's not a lot of places to check for a vehicle if they're searching the right area. Hope they're found soon and ok.

This area is well off the paved roads; you'd have had to be taking a very specific route through the park or go well out of your way to get anywhere near it.

That's some good news, means they at least know the right area to be searching in which is pretty significant out there.

    SON OF A...

I need some help.. I’m in a friends garage putting in the AAL and I screwed up the threads on the greasable pin.

Lower pin on the GS12 shackle kit. Any ideas of where to get a replacement without buying a whole new shackle kit?

My backup plan is to pick up a regular partially threaded bolt to make it drives me until I get a replacement.

Well I got the nut off. I may have enough thread left IF I have the right die.

Well, I picked up new nuts and lock washers.. no shoulder bolt would fit. The way this greasable bolt works is that the largest diameter sits inside the bushings, the smaller shoulder area sits inside the shackles and then the threaded portion fully sticks outside of the shackle plates.

Any off-road shops open today that would have a replacement without buying the full shackle kit?

I’m on the motorcycle now, so I am mobile.

Did some wiring today. Added Front/rear anytime camera and switch for future compressor, deleted bsm and parking sonar. Also found my front diff is leaking but that’s not fun. Hmmm build thread coming soon.067247B9-2CF5-4754-BE50-EC4A4073B921.jpgA6EBC1B8-0374-4C47-A124-19A4AC9DFAC1.jpg

I finally got around to (and talked into) doing my UCA bushings. I will say it rides better. I didn’t think they were that bad, but shows what I know.

Don’t have a picture of them but we got @Littles 48 inch brake lines installed on the rear of his truck as well. His new custom springs have almost 6 and a half feet of travel so he is going to need all it. Anybody got any brake bleeding tips when you open the system and the system gets real mad about it?

P.S. I was actually kind of serious about the brake bleeding part. We pumped and pumped and pumped and never could get any fluid of any mention to the valve. Ended the effort with trying to gravity bleed the system. I guess with all that extra line to fill it might take a bit.
