Parts are in!!

After a long fight with the dealer and waiting a couple of weeks for the parts, i'm finally going to get the rear spring TSB done! I'm nervous about how it is going to turn out and what the ride is going to feel like.

 

Congrats! I'm sure you'll be happy with the results, it'll actually ride like a truck once it's done.

 

you should be nervous..the ride is gonna be ROUGH. but at least you wont have any more of your bottoming out problems!

 

?? I don't think it's that rough. I think it's better than when I first got it, the truck doesn't roll into corners as much and doesn't bottom out with some weight in the bed.

 

I'm pretty sure he was being sarcstic about how people get it done.

 

This is for all gen 2's or just 2010's? My '08 seems fine even with 800-900 pound load

 

I had the TSB done on my 2007. It was bottoming out with a 400 lb motorcycle in the bed. Personally, I liked the way it rode once I got my truck back.

 

yeah, my ride sucks since i got the tsb done. Total regret

 

Just curious, for those of you who aren't happy with the TSB ride, what was the reason for bringing in your truck to have the new springs put on? I brought mine in because the stock springs weren't strong enough for what I needed to haul so I expected a stiffer ride unloaded and a comfortable ride when loaded.

 

I just had it done. It rides fine to me, but then again my last vehicle was a jeep. A shopping cart rides smooth compared to a jeep.

 

I had the TSB done, the ride was more firmer but not by much.
If i was worried about a cushy ride, i would of got a lexus

I think most guys are getting the rear springs TSB for the little lift it gives to the ass end...

Kinda like what heels do to a ladies rear end.

Haha, nice analogy But do those people understand what the purpose of the TSB is? It's supposed to make it ride more firm, that's the whole point!

 

The only problem with the TSB is that it shows off how lame the front suspension is on the TRD. Hopefully the Billy's/Eibach will straighten it out.

 

Does that mean my truck's ass looks better with the TSB ????

 

The TSB are like tight jeans on a woman...

It may make the ass look better...or bigger.

Not that there's anything wrong with the latter.

There is still the debate over firm or cushy ride...
