Toyota's, in general, keep their value for longer periods due to their reliability. Pretty much the reason why they are still "expensive" when compared to other brands of similar years and mileage.

yeah what @My Name is Rahl said. I got my 2013 in January of 2016, access cab base model (read: 5 lug) with the comfort options package (power mirrors and cruise control I think? I forget exactly now) and it was just under 20k at 58k miles.

Just out of curiosity, is anyone here in the Columbus/Dublin area a Toyota mechanic or have advanced mechanical knowledge on Tacoma trucks? I have a few factory parts I’d like to replace or at least address now that I just hit 125k miles. I am by no means a mechanic, but have familiarity with DIY repairs. For the most part, I’d like to get an evaluation and a punch list of things to replace and go from there. If anyone would be able to help me out in identifying things that I might oversee I would greatly appreciate it. Still trying to figure out how to navigate properly through the forum. Kind of a bonehead when it comes to advanced technology, hahaha.

    THANK YOU!!!

Welcome to Ohio, OP! I'm in Bexley. Work in Dublin and in Logan. I've got a rusted-in-half 2000 TRD X-Tra Cab that I'm looking to turn into a trail rig. Looking for the right shop/friend who can fabricate a new back half of a frame (anyone interested in some extra beer money?)

Can anyone recommend a local fab and/or 4x4 shop?

Grandview here. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a place to do a timing belt on a 2004 taco? The removing crank pulley scared me
