Well I dont have a picture of her stock, but i got her on June 20, 2009. Shes an 09 and had 7 miles on her when i picked her up from the dealer. I immediatly put Weathertech all weather floor liners in (the gas pedal does not get stuck under them ), black westin platinum nerf bars, and a black westin bull bar with 4062 PIAA driving lights. Here are a few picture of her in july.





I then got a Bestop Supertop (thing is freaking amazing....2min on and 2 min off, great for camping or anyone who has dogs).

Its great for keeping 4 kegs, 100lbs of ice, 100 lbs of fire wood, camping gear for 5 and a dog dry while driving trough a 2 hour rain storm on the way to a lake party!!!

well i finally got my avid bar installed and moved my driving lights behind my grille. shes coming along slowly but surely.






next up are some sliders....

Nice build, in the 2nd to last pic in the 1st post looked like you had some sort of visor, I had to look closely

 

just ordered some sliders from Brandon at Avid, hopefully they will be here sooner rather than later. Also just put some spray on bedliner onto the light bar, looks much better. Only a few more things left....lift and tires,and maybe a relentless fab. bumper

 

Well the sliders have been in for a while, and have been on the truck just about as long as ive had them. Been busy at work, so I have not gotten any pictures, will post some on wednesday or thursday (will be my first day home in about a month).

My rugged fails are about shot now with only 20k miles on them......so im looking at tires, which means im looking at a lift too. Any suggestions? Im looking at around 3 in., Toytec and OME are what im looking at now.

Was thinking about a plate bumper, specifically relentless fab, but with the tires pretty much shot i think ill do that first.

I switched the oil to Mobile 1 full synthetic about a month ago and have only driven it from the street to the back of the house, so hopefully all the oil is still in the truck .

 

Your truck is coming along nicely. I have the same truck and am in the process of deciding what type of bed topper to buy. Cant make up my mind....LOL. Would you buy another soft topper or would you go with a hard type? Why? thanks

 

thanks man!!! id buy another soft topper in a heart beat. the thing is AWESOME!!! takes literally 3 min to go from a top to an open bed. I rarely use the windows, but they are nice to have if im going out camping and know its gonna rain. I usually have it on, and leave it bikini style. Im not a huge fan of the hard toppers, cause you cant just throw stuff or people back there as easily. I play beach volleyball and its nice to have my buddies jump in the back all sandy and not have to worry about the interior. hands down if this thing ever is stolen or tears, ill buy one right away.

Thanks for the information. it does look nice and I am sure it is lighter and easier to put on and off. I am still undecided but it is definatly moved up on my list now.

 

So with a name like GeoTaco do you geocache? Is that what you get paid for? If so that's an amazing job. Nice truck btw.

 

haha no, Im a geologist, but i mostly do environmental emergency response work. ie. the gulf oil spill, the spill in Michigan, Hurricanes...etc.

 

Well I got the prefix right. That sounds like an exciting job.

well i finally put on an OME lift and some 285-75-16 Duratracs!!!! Ill post some before and after pictures when i get to my computer. Looks way better IMO.
