Uhhh ... make sure you get all the air bubbles out of the lines?:cookiemonster:

When I installed the Tundra brakes and new brake lines a couple of months ago, I bled the furthest away from the master cylinder first, progressing to the closest. Right Rear (RR), LR, RF, LF. I used a brake bleeder kit found at any auto parts store, which contains a clear tube and bottle to capture the fluid. Attach the clear tube to the fitting. I opened the fitting, my daughter depressed the pedal to the floor, I closed the fitting, my daughter released the pedal. Repeat until no bubbles for at least 3 cycles. Remember to add brake fluid to the master cylinder so it doesn’t drain empty.

Excellent instructions on a typical brake bleed. In the scenario I painted above though, that method did not yield positive results. Pay attention David. Geez.

I had a hell of a time bleeding my extended rear brake line even with a fancy vacuum bleeder. It was probably because I’m dumb but I ended up having to take it to a shop to bleed.

Speak of the devil I have been meaning to replace a hardline and a sensor cable on my passenger side. I'll definitely need to rebleed my brakes. Anyone ever used a colored fluid to see when the new has cycled through? I can't seem to find it but thought I had seen it before

Not sure if you were doing a traction control vehicle or not. Those must be done while the vehicle is running.

Even gravity bleeding? It was a Bryan’s 09. We did the pump pump hold method with it running but it did not yield fluid at the bleeder valve. Maybe then we can give it the pump pump hold method after the gravity has “primed” the lines.....

Dammit. Even though I planned this job out, I hit another snag... u-bolts aren’t long enough with the axle relocation plate.

    Currently have these:
Anyone know where I can get longer SQUARE radius u-bolts today in a store? 2.5” wide I.D., 7.5-8” long.

In my 09 you just turn the truck on, push brake(no need to pump), open bleeder, the pump does all the work(you should hear it run), close the bleeder, and let go of brake.

Pretty sure the OR is the only one that does that
