Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
My old truck is good up to 74 mph. At 75 all hell breaks loose.

When my front leaf bushings were worn out I would get a terrible death wobble at 30 mph.

I guess the rear bushings could be a factor.

    Hopefully that fixes it.

The poor OGT just keeps getting smaller and weaker. Although considering the plans and parts I'm stock piling, she might be just collapsing in on herself before going supernova, lol.

I have to say though, I have no idea how Dom managed to cram 35s under his 3rd Gen T4R. While I did do a lot of trimming to make room for the 33s at full bump, they in no way, shape, or form, other than pointed straight ahead clear everything. I'd have to tub the floor boards/fire wall and move the washer reservoir. Instead, I'm going to be leaning heavily on the sway bar to limit articulation.

I suppose I should start a build thread for Natty as well.

If you want, you can have my washer reservoir that sits on the passenger fender (for either the runner or the Tacoma, can't remember if either have abs). Mine won't fit anymore

Dunno. The tint was on it when we bought it from ex-Spruce Taco. Maybe it's not as dark as it appears in the picture? :notsure:

Cool beans. I'll take you up on that. :hattip:

    OGT Lite?

Same OGT, just 100% lamer.

I think I pin pointed the vibration though. I still have to test it out on the interstate, but I think I might have put too much weight in the new 33s that are finally on Natty now.

I'm feeling something weird here (and no, I'm not drunk). I think I made a mistake with Natty's tires. I think I should have stayed with the 265/75R16s and just got the Trxus tires in that size. I don't think I've ever regretted going up in tire size before. o_O  Those heavy 33s have severely impacted Natty's performance. She can't maintain interstate speed going up hill with out dropping out of overdrive and some times as low as 2nd on the steeper grades between North Tampa and Westley Chapel on I275. I'm not sure I can live with that, but the only solution is to regear a size or two lower or go back down to 32s. 32s would be cheaper and I was kind of impressed that she did as well as she did at Citrus on 32s. They would also clear better when stuffed.

The OGT still vibrates. Not nearly as bad, but it's still there, just at an acceptable level that I can blame on the tires not being balanced perfectly. I think the weight of the front bumper magnifies any vibration by an order of magnitude for some reason.

Natty now has a strong wiggle in the steering wheel at about 40-45, but goes away into a little vibration in the steering wheel at interstate speeds. I figure the strong wiggle is because the tires aren't rolling fast enough for the beads to settle in a balanced condition...probably because I used too many of them, since they are supposed to settle in at ~30 MPH or so.

No disrespect, but, man, I bet those look like some pizza-cutters. The 265/75R16s the OGT is currently wearing look skinny as 'ell.

I was considering going the 255/85-16 route. I'd lose about an inch in diameter but gain a ton of wheel well clearance. If I didn't need new rims to go along with the tires I would have pulled the trigger.

What size rims do you have right now? They actually make a better selection in 255/80/17s!

16x9. I'm not interested in doing a whole wheel and tire package. I was just looking at tires. I might drop back to 33's and call it a day.
