All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

Any difference in how it runs? I used to use ethanol free in my Rav 4 and it seemed to run a lot better even though Toyota claims 87 ethanol is all it needs.

That inner fender cutting looks painful lol. But I suppose it's just a start if you are fitting 33"s.

One of my first mods for my truck was a BAKFlip MX4 bed cover. I have had it for close to 6 months and so far I really enjoy it. It is easy enough to open when needed and keeps a low profile sporty look which is what I like.

My dumbest gripe with it is that there are these poles you use to help keep the bed cover propped up against the cabin when you have it folded up and need to use the truck bed. When they are not being used, they sit in a plastic clamp and the poles ALWAYS fall out of the clamps. :-/

    IMG_1704.jpg IMG_1705.jpg

Went to a local Home Depot and found some "insulated cable clamps" in the electrical section that are made out of flexible steel with protective rubber insulation.

    IMG_1706.jpg

Now, the poles NEVER fall out when driving! The best $1.68 I have ever spent!! :)

Been waiting for these to be back in stock for ever! Now I can get rid of the hideous Method center caps. Between these and the Ultimate turns I ordered the other day it will be like a summer time visit from @MESO Clause later this week.

I would wrap a piece of Velcro around the rod and put the other piece of Velcro in the bottom of that rod holder.

Edit: I see you have the issue taken care of.

The Tacoma is the family vehicle so if he's with me so is my wife and she sits back there with him. She was telling me before we had a kid that we should get the Tundra but since then she says the second I want to we'll trade in the Tacoma for something bigger. Unfortunately I drove almost 100 miles/day for work so I'm not ready to pull the trigger yet. Especially if they're coming out with the next gen Tundra and 4Runner within a year or 2

Hopefully you did what I did. They were still on the trim piece and hadn't fallen at all...

I am not sure if it is a placebo effect or not but it does seem to run smoother. There is more power on takeoff. I am not sure if it justifys the price difference, will will how it runs on regular gas after. Might just cycle between them because it is almost $1 more per gallon.
