I did enjoy watching Mat's GL video when the details about 1.05 dropped. It is exactly what I would expect out of a manual mode on an AT. I have found those modes very lacking on cars that offer something like it.

It can be fun. I’ve used it a few times. Doesn’t down shift automatically though. So if you forget coming to a stop it lugs pretty good lol

That is exactly how I would want it to operate. On the two cars that we owned with manual mode ATs, that is the only way I ever drove them. Same with any rentals.

The other problem I had was that going to the manual mode would make the shifting more harsh. The cars call it sport shifting. I called it annoying.

Will buy when 2.0 is released. I appreciate this thread and all the MT guys that contribute to the conversation.

I’ve been lurking for months waiting for rev hang to get tuned out or “deleted”. Absolutely the worst part about my new truck. I also look forward to the linear throttle response and maybe more power? Still confused about the power gains, I thought I read the somewhere that the results were different from the autos vs manual trucks and that the hp gains were very minimal with the MTs. Either way very excited about rev hang delete!

The updates are free ....... why wait ? The price could go up. IIRC 2.0 won't release 'til the end of the year .... ?

I was like you in the beginning, the only problem I saw with this truck was 1st the Rev Hang and 2nd the DFCO.with very little commitment at that time to address these two issues and being an early adopter of this tune, the only work being done was with something to do with drivability and a wonky throttle ,i was getting nervous!!

Until 103 , 103.5 up to now 105 tunes were released,I have come to realize what these guys were complaining about.
That at least half of the problems with this truck was in the throttle alone!!
If you intend on keeping this truck,I strongly recommend this tune!!

I'm with you, without the revhang fix a tune isn't worth it.... Won't pull the trigger until it is confirmed, I'm sure the tune is better; just not worth it when you're still waiting on RPMs to drop so you can shift, especially when flooring it at 6k RPM...

Wrong. It can release at any time. I put the eta as that only to stop people asking for etas.

This is true, but I'm going to wait for feedback. I've waited almost 2 years for this, so no rush now. I've been on stock tune since November 2015 a so few more months/years won't hurt.

I can see how you haven't pushed it off a cliff by now since you're on 04B13.

    04B10 was just plain awful.

09/15 build date, bought it in October.

    The pain was real.
