I have a 2012 Tacoma TRD Off-Road in stock condition. I’m new to overland and I just wanted to get ideas on what I should consider upgrading on my truck first? Or what I should add? I live in the SoCal region east of LA. I’ve added a pic of how my truck looks now. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

Nice looking truck! And welcome! I would start with baselining all the maintenance items, oil, fluids, plugs etc and the Uni filter. After that it’s all up to you - wheels/tires/lift kits and so many mods. good luck with resisting the temptation.

Good advice maintenance first for reliability then just figure out what direction you want to go. If you want to truck camp, use ground tents, or maybe a micro camper. The set ups will vary some.
