I'm sure there's a way to automate this. Like anytime someone types "what suspension should I get?" it just auto-completes with this text.

Thanks again guys. You've been a ton of help. Instead of starting a new thread, I have another quick question. If I'm adding a shell that weighs prob 50lbs more than the current one, a 135lb tent, and bumpers that weigh prob 100lbs each plus another 100ish pounds of random gear, do I need to think about doing any different gearing?

I have been thinking about this! I just hate that I can't get a consensus on when that comes into play with my truck. Is it any life? Is it 2 inches or more? And there is there anything you can do to a drivetrain to mitigate the negative aspects of the lift?

Bilstien 5100 front lifted 1.25" ome deaver springs in rear rear diff breather relocate kc daylighter on front ham radio
i have 5100s all around have the front set to 1.25" i think with stock coil spring, and ome dakaar springs in rear this set up rides way better than my old worn out suspension. while lifting will affect the drive angles ive read that if you keep your lift below 3" on these trucks it will not drastacly affect the drive train much i installed a drive shaft drop spacer to help straighten out the drive line not necessary but gives me a little more piece of mind my lift was at about 2" in the rear but have now settled down to 1.5" lift after a year which is perfect for my needs.

Icon/TC Mid travel, TRD S/C, PNP Greddy EMU, 625cc injectors, 2.2 pulley, Hayden tranny cooler, AEM wideband, TRD boost gauge.
IMO Billy 4600s are pretty stiff, the 5100s were an improvement.

One of the best comfort mods I have done to date is replacing the front LCA bushings with fresh OEM rubber- huge upgrade in decreasing NVH as the OEs were toast.

I think my Icons are stiffer than the 5100s, but its a trade off, they then let me get up to higher speed off road. Now that I have armor all that crap I talked about Icon digressive slow speed valving and that I couldn't wait to do the "slow speed stack" softer valving is now up in the air. The Icons are really shining (especially the slow speed valving) with all the additional weight. Still, I think you can't go wrong with Kings- you just can't.

    Luv my yota likes this.

for lifts I got a 6 inch lift and for struts 5100 adjustable pretty good so far for driveshaft angel not too bad.
