I got a visit form the original overlander today. She crawled into the yard and decided to stay for a while. For scale, she's about 12" across the shell.

    20190526_144402.jpg

    How do I know it's a she?

She proceeded to dig into the ground and lay eggs for about an hour! I stayed back, but here's what it looked like when she moved away. You can see where her back feet were dug in while she laid.

Since the eggs won't hatch until Aug, I decided to give them a chance to survive the raccoons, foxes, snakes, etc. I'm hoping they don't dig under it.

It’s possible. As long as when you have the pressure drop that the temp changes is close.

But judging how a air duster can will cool off quick when you dump it i can see it work

Not sure yet. I'm not 100% sure the shape of everything. The truck had the 3.4 but it's been pulled.

It has an a340f transmission and j-shift transfer case. One strange thing the gear code is a11a. I think it's a 4.10 but if any one else knows better

Well I got lucky today. I’m working on fixing up the E320, and the stereo finally died the other day. Only the AMG models came with the double din stereo and they’re significantly rare.

Couldn’t believe I found one in the first one I checked.

Paid a whole $10 for it. If I had to buy the Burl wood trim with the right cutout, and the plastic skeleton behind it - it would cost roughly $450 from Mercedes. It’s real wood burl, that ain’t plastic.

The Navi radio is worth another $200, it’s basically unheard to find one of them.
