Should have gone to the mountains today instead of doing yard work. 95° in Greenwood today and 81° in Sapphire, NC. :bananadead:

    I despise that phrase ...
I former manager used it all the time & was full of it when saying it.

    But ...

I can't stand the phrase breaking necks and cashing checks that one gets on around if I work a lot as well however I never seen the broken necks it's kind of sad

My Pops Dodge 1500 4x4 ended up as a casualty down on the back 40 at the property. We ended up down by the swamp putting out salt blocks and it just sank in the mud. And the started pouring rain.

I walked about half a mile and retrieved the Jeep and even locked, I couldn't get it out.
My uncle John lives on the other end of the property so we hopped in my jeep and I barely made it out myself.

We made it to uncle Johnys and it was cool to see him after about 35 years, then we headed home.

Pops called a neighbor and they are going to try and retrieve it in the morning. I'll be headed home, so unfortunately, I won't get to play. Mud sucks.

Hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day Weekend.

I did that in my old 2wd 4runner. Bogged it in the farthest corner of the property (300ac) and had to walk all they way back and get the tractor. Self recover 100yds (back and forth to correct steering) and then walk all the way back to the truck after dropping the tractor back off :bananadead::facepalm:

Gotta over seed in some spots but I’m super happy with how the front grass turned out. Been alittle over a week! Over seed the bare spots and on to the next project. Gotta clean up the back and sides before I grass that. Got some more trees to clear outta the ditch.
