Thankyou, I made a mistake it's actually out of an 06 I'm sure that's different and I'm confused on the pin orientation with the empty terminals.

It's the same. The view is looking into the connector...

I couldn't visualize what the S1 terminal would be for, so I looked up the schematic. It turns out it's a speed signal from the instrument cluster. I wonder why it needs that.

Thanks, I'm overthinking or looking at something wrong, Looking at it The#6 doesn't have a pin on the meter, top has a full row and the bottom row there are no pins in first two spots, for right now I'd just like to power this on bench and make sure I'm not wasting my time.

The connector shown here is as viewing into the mating side, not from the wire side. Check the Meter connector for the clip side also. The view here might inverted. There is a change in year for temp sensor...Don't know any other changes.
Place a pic of what you got...

Gotcha. Well without the sensor connected no temp. Compass should come on.

I couldn't remember what it looked like, so I looked on ebay. That connector that the OP posted a pic of is, is attached to the meter, with all black wires going to the circuit board. Also, on ebay it lists '05-'08 and '09-'12.

Correct all I have is the meter, I was able to power up an 06 on bench which I sold now I have an 09 meter which I think is wired differently to use for a project , 09 is different with same layout of pins not sure how to power this one for now all I wanna do is see if it is good or not.
