    I have one of those Freedom uppers. It's a 3-5 moa upper with bulk ammo, best groups were 1.75 moa with heavy match ammo. No problems in 3500 rounds.

    I bought a 8” 300blk upper, went to install my suppressor mount and the barrel twisted off the extension when I went to unthread the bird cage. They didn’t torque the barrel properly, which meant they drilled the gas port in the wrong place... refused to warranty it because “I took it apart”... yet I never would have known it had issues without doing so. The gas block was covering half of the port. 9 times out of 10 they will run and usually pretty decent, but if I’m going to spend $200 on an upper whose parts are questionable, I’ll spend another $100 and build an Aero and know what I have.

    I'm in agreement with you on that one. I had a premium BCG from them and the cotter pin broke on first removal. They push a lot of volume and I don't put them near LWRC, BCM, Larue and so on.

    Yeah, they are Good to go for budget builds, first timers and loaner rifles. I have a couple of their uppers just to have for spares. I’d just recommend spending 20% more and get proven stuff. We need to go shooting
