    Good morning boys and gorks!
As you head to the pool,or bbq, or sit on the beach. Take a min to reflect on why we have the freedom to do so, and take a moment of silence for those who arent able to join.

Apparently there’s a national moment of silence at 3pm local time on Memorial Day. Learned that this morning

    A thing or two...
Nice. I'm still unpacking. I've got the bulk of it done. Did all my laundry and moved what I brought with me from the corporate apartment to the new place. I've got about 15 more boxes to unpack but they're almost all reloading and 'garage' boxes. About half a dozen are all my books and DVDs, but my bookcase died in this move and my DVD storage died a horrible death when I moved to VA.

I spend 5+ hrs each day on Fri-Sun unpacking and organizing, so I'm done with it for the weekend. I'll work my way through the remaining boxes over the next week or two. I need to file a claim with the movers, so I can't take too long.

Unpacking sucks balls. I’m very thankful my wife is doing most of it, while I take care out outside stuff like the lawn and the garage and whatnot.

I need to pickup a new gas can and service my mower and weedeater to start doing the lawn here before it gets too unruly.

That was literally the first thing I did here. Went to Lowe’s and bought a self propelled lawn mower and mowed this bitch. Landlord loves this lawn and I want to maintain it nicely.

Mine shipped with the rest of my stuff.

I've been neglecting their maintenance, so they both need a spark plug and oil change. I should change the air filter on both as well, and the mower need a new blade. I have the blade, but I never put it on because there was stuff in the yard that I'd hit everytime I mowed.

Have you tried NOT running over stuff in the yard?

 Now why would you want to do something silly like that?

There was a bunch of old metal pipe at the place I just moved out of that was buried in ivy. I hit it the first couple times I mowed. After that it was just a chunk of concrete that was easier to just go over. It was in a weird spot near the back fence. I think it was leftover from a job that got dumped. After the first time or two over it, it was just grazing it.

The blade was fucked anyway from the yard in NM, so I was worried about it.

Silly people at the rental company gave me a Charger GT for the week and didn't reset the top speed. it's like leaving the video game high scores in at the arcade. It just forces you to try and beat it.
