Hey buddy, your truck looks great! Not sure if you noticed, but I think you may have accidentally posted in my build thread, and not yours?

Either way, nice truck, and cheers!

Oh sorry about that man! I thought this thread was a build thread for all 2015 Tacomas. I like your truck as well!

Man it's been a while since I've posted here. Not much to speak of recently. I purchased an ATC camper shell, had it painted black, then decided I'm just not a canopy guy lol. 20190602_154323.jpg

So I ended up selling the canopy, and put a tri-fold hard tonneau cover on.

I also added some Amazon ditch lights but still need to finish wiring them up.

Near future plans (after wiring ditch lights) are a cobra CB (which I have, and just need to install) and a 3" lift.

Long term goal has become to make this a capable family rig that we can carry all our camping supplies, and maybe a couple kayaks.

Look forward to posting more updates soon!

Definitely! I probably paid a little too much but I wanted it done well, so I went with a local auto body shop. It was around $700 out the door.

Finally got it lifted! As a DIY-er, it was tough not to do it myself, but I didn't want to risk voiding the lifetime warranty (though I've heard differing opinions on those, anyway). Went with the 3" ReadyLift, since this build is a daily that will do some light offroading and forest road camping. Plan to go larger on the tires soon, but just need to decide. I've been impressed with the KM1 mud terrains so far, but I've also been eyeing the KO2s. What are your guy's opinions?

Also, was able to score some of the LED tail lights from a local Tacoma enthusiast Facebook group. Very happy with how they look!
