Hmm, duno how much you guys like UFC.

They have started posting the full oldschool UFC's on youtube, under the UFC youtube channle. Looks legit. Fun to watch where it all started from, and you can just skip to wtf ever you want to watch.

They did separate the closure into two issues. Illegal dumping and destruction of the road.

The one quote states how off-roaders are destroying the road via going through mud holes and stuff making it worst for vehicles who need to use the road for actual use.

It’s a double edge sword. We do go off road to essentially get stuck. However it’s knowing that a cottage goer isn't going to be on the section. For instance in ardbeg the main section of road shouldn’t be a place to do burnouts and spread mud and rut it up. Do that on the offshoots if you want. Or isn’t going to not allow a hydro line worker to not get to the location to do their job.

It's getting crazy, geez I sound like an old guy when I say this, but as a kid there were places everywhere for dirtbikes and off-road vehicles. King Rd and the Service Rd in Burlington was a prime example, huge old clay mine that was always full of bikes, dune buggies, beaters and trucks. Off of Snake Rd there was another popular area.... Places all over...

Now, I'm reduced to putting on a hard had and driving around job sites, or driving 2-6hrs to find a trail that is longer than 20mins to drive. Grrrrrr

F'n herbal tea swilling, vegan, tree huggers have infected all levels of government. Someone give Rob Ford a Jeep or an Off-Road Tacoma with MT tires and tell him how this whole industry is being vandalized and how much more beer he would sell. Tell him to cut funding to the fern feeling fence and path builders, sell trail passes to the 4x4's and balance the budget. That'll fix it.

Next year, it will be a shorter drive to another country to go to an off Road Park... to flex my suspension on something other than potholes, speedbumps and slow apprentices.Grrrrr

I want to put a winch on the front and a locker on the back... but if things keep going like this they will be there just for show... Grrrr

    / off rant mode

but if I want to do most offshoots I need to spend $$$$ to play there or fix after attempting one, no bueno. I blame trucks with anything bigger than 31” tyres, they should put smaller tyres. Australia has good regulations about maximum lift (and it results in smaller tyres), we should have that too.

I will agree with you, damn vegan kids ruining it all! Even in red neck province here they got “regulations”...

It’s always the few that ruin it for the masses.

At the end of the day we don’t dump shit, ruin the trails or any of that. Yet some do.

We try and educate on property use, leaving it better than you found it etc etc. Some just go with the crowd and assume if some think it’s okay it’s fine. Group think at its best.

I'm a 70's kid, that was free-range raised in Oakville/Burlington. North of the QEW, from Mississauga, to Burlington, at one point was entirely navigable without too much hassle of attracting attention to yourself.

Into the 90's, i still had a dirty bike that you could still have some fun with, if you had a cheap pick-up truck to get to the 'spot', or trail leading to the 'spot'... cops were getting thick and furious at that point.

    That's all long gone.

The 'spots' disappear ... or through the process of increased popularity and then abuse at the few 'spots' known still open and accessible, and subsequent restrictive regulation... and so the cycle continues.

Trail damage from yesterday. I backed into a tree and heard a pop, thought the bumper had hit and didn't bother to check. Only noticed when I got home.

I have an extra you can have. I'm not using the factory lights. I had them stored up on a high shelf in the garage, one fell somehow and broke, luckily it's the driver side.

So a fully built Dynatrac axle with ADD delete and RCV driveshafts? That's the thing with Jeeps, isn't it? Logic dictates buy once, cry once. However, the sky is the limit with that "buying once".
