Just imagine this thing dead or in an "inhumane" trap of sorts. 220px-Marmota_flaviventris_standing_S_of_Donahue_Pass.jpg

I've had a few things fail on me from there. I haven't been in one in a while but they have their place. I don't get all hard over it and I don't despise it. I do despise working with cheap quality stuff though. Makes the job more difficult

I don't like buying their tools mainly cause I don't like the idea of filling my box with cheap stuff. I plan on keeping my tools long enough to hand down to my kids or someone elses kids and I don't want them thinking I was cheap lol. They may carry a lifetime warranty, but that does'nt mean I want to be running back there in the midst of a job to replace tools. And since they're coming out with new "brands" like Quinn sockets, whose to say they'll even warranty the older Pittsburgh sockets once they're phased out completely.

Only ever been disapointed by their leaky air tools, but mine are the older/cheaper variety. Also their sanding products clog up real quick.

Get one of those MAP gas torches (one of the bigger ones), works great to preheat, works great for the thick stuff.

I would'nt know, closest thing we've got out east to that is the beaver. They wont do anything to defend themselves from people, but they'll completely destroy your property if it has a suitable body of water on it.

I have a nice Snap-On Ratchet set and my cheap Stanley ones from Costco. I can’t tell much of a difference, the Snappy ones have more clicks and more travel, but I don’t notice it.

I bought a bag of zip ties there that all snapped when bent in any sort of fashion but that's about it...and 90% of the tools I own are from HF.

Granted I'm a hobbyist and shadetree mechanic at best but I think they're a great resource for guys like me

Those guys eat ticks and mosquitos though. And theyre very unlikely to contract rabbies, contrary to popular belief. They pretty much always run off at the sight of people so they dont bug me. Theres actually a lot of groups trying to spread opossum awareness right now to prevent people from killing them for no real reason.

Meh, Im not an anti-vaxxer so idgaf. And, I wouldnt get close enough to one to touch it or anything. Dunno why anyone would have a need to. If you need one gone, red ryder BB guns work pretty good.
