95.5 Oddities & Questions

Never had that problem in my extended cab, the pressure in there always opens them so I have to close them regularly.

I have a sub box pinched between the drivers seat and the back of the cab and it ends up being perfect for me. I sit almost straight up and down too lol

 

anybody here well versed in the SR5 trim package
I suppose from the nice paradise blue in the sister topic thread that '96 SR5 is the same as mine ('97) is to the 95.5
so I have a question on this particular truck....

is this a 'true' SR5 ... it is missing a number of things that my truck has and the paradise blue has

 

here is a question I felt to be an oddity
looking and comparing values on NADA book
specifically the SR5 4x4 model

why is the 95.5 SR5 4x4 not on par with the '96 and '97?

the difference in value at the high end is nearly $6k

The '95.5 models have a smaller diameter eccentric on the cam bolts.

Those were popular back in the day- known commonly as “bras.”
Now, I haven’t seen one in ages.

 

did the pictured 'bra' have a Toyota logo on it?

Well in the 90s, it was a popular brand. I have never like them myself, so know nothing about quality.
Covercraft (or was it Coverking) was another popular brand.

Of course, well-made 20 plus years ago may mean nothing to well-made today.

 

As far as I know the smaller cam bolts are unique to the 1995 models.

 

22k back in 95. Wow I wouldn’t of guess that. Thought they were cheaper.
