Drove in through Hite, northern part of Lake Powell. We spent a day in capital Reef, drove down a wash to a trail head there. Ended up spending the night in a hotel on the west side of it.

Drove into the Maze district and spent the night at cleopatra’s chair campsite. We had access to Panoramic point and it was awesome. From there we were supposed to head down to the dollhouse campsite, but a sleet and snow storm changed that plan. So we headed back to Moab and got a room at the Lazy Lizard hostel.

Head into arches and hiked 7.2 miles in Devils Garden and then drove over minutemen hill and did the same off-road trail me and you did last year. Stopped by Tower and Eye of the whale arch. Spent the night in BFE.

Drove down to the Needles and went over elephant hill. This time I hiked the joint trail and Druid arch trail 9.2 miles in 4.5 hours) with Tanya. I had a lot of fun in that same sandy little over and around section, but didn’t have to use the lockers. We stayed in the Super Bowl campground that you and I changed my CV in last year.

We rolled out and drove down to Sedona. Camped out in a little national park campground right after you drop in the valley coming out of Flagstaff. It rained all that night, but we didn’t get snow like the did in Flagstaff.

After a slow morning, we drove down to the Palatki dwelling site off of 525 and we are dispersed camping there tonight. We have2.5 days left and then will be heading back home.

It seems like we keep missing each other. I didn’t have a chance to do much last year and I’m hoping to make up for it this time.

It’s a possibility. I’d definitely be in if it was a Saturday.
