Man I see such mixed feelings about steroids. You still gotta put in work for them to work. I don’t agree with doing it for competition but really I don’t get al the hate for people who bodybuild as a hobby

I'm certainly not in the "hate" group. I think if a person wants to take whatever supplements they want to better their performance then more power to them. The gov't is nothing but a bunch of know nothing, hypocritical, busy bodies that allow the equivalent of gelatin caps to be sold as some muscle building wonder drug at GNC while banning substances that actually work and treating those who take them practically like child molesters! However-dun, dun, daaaah (lol) I also don't appreciate muscle building magazines and organizations leading people to believe that You Too can weigh a ripped 250 lbs and build monster muscles by taking creatine, protein powder, animal packs and working out like a Beast 6 days a week! It sets a lot of people up for major failure, wasting their money chasing after that "wonder supplement" that's going to work for them. As long as people understand that the only way you are going to look like the pro BB's of today is to take some serious chemical enhancement then I say go for it if that's what you want to do.

    Ignorance.

    As is with most everything.

I’m not opposed to it period. Make your own personal choices about your body and what you want to do or not do.
There are already clear competition platforms for each choice. Thats why they have Natural Comps... because everything else is steroid and HGH competitions. You won’t see a natural guy in Mr. Olympia for a reason.

I think steroids used in bodybuilding are better controlled and used properly compared to the medical community that thinks all men over 40 need to be pumped up and it leads to dangerous cardiac events.

I’ve been skipping gym days and trail running out in the sunshine. I work indoors and started having issues with being inside under fluorescent lighting all day. So, I go run a local trail on my lunch. As much as I don’t enjoy running, being outside and working towards slimming up makes me happy.

Why do you keep calling it “cheating”?

I just ate icecream. It’s not cheating because I never agreed to never eat icecream ever again. So nothing to feel guilty over.

Good is subjective. Follow your macros, who cares how you get there. :)

Hita 390# single bench pr last week followed by 330x5. Not gonna lie, 2 rep max pr to 80% for 3x5 has been a game changer for me.

My main issue is: Natural Light > Fluorescent Light

Sunshine, Vitamin D, Fresh Air > Constantly being indoors

Pretty much all foods (with rare exceptions) can be part of a healthy and quality diet. Its just the amount and frequency to which some foods should be included that varies.

Seeing certain foods as inherently bad is not a healthy way to view food.

Plus whats wrong with beans and fried potatoes?
    I love both of those!

Did a Murph yesterday for Memorial Day instead of BBQ and beers...fucking sucked especially since it's the middle of a heatwave down here. Pretty pleased with myself for actually doing it.
