    I'm headed in a different direction than shop and shop tools right now......and I don't have any money right now.

    This weekend I'm going to work on my hot dog cart and get some things welded up. I have enough material to get the major structural components built and make it functional. Then it'll be a lot of detail work....plumbing (gas and water), wind guards, lettering for the name and a place to put it. Getting the artwork (what little there'll be) and a place to put it, canopy frame and cover. Should have some of the legal stuff about done. The business filing with the state and the ein with the feds are close, then back to state level tax ID (TPT) then down to county level for health inspection/cert. Still loads of stuff after that....icechests and mounts, propane tank mounts, trailer lights, menu board, lighting, sound system, utensil drawer/storage, gorilla proof cash/change box....tons of details. It should all come together in the end with the paperwork and the total build.

    Wow this week is starting off great. Already have two separate PDC meetings scheduled which I have to represent the members. Why can't people just do their freaking jobs? It's not that hard....

    Sounds like fun , to bad you really aren't closer before I joined the AF one of the jobs I did for a year was building Roach Coaches and Food vendor carts . It was a fun job problem occurred when owner of the company got arrested for loan sharking lol . I started just making the metal parts pans doors , compartments etc but moved into building the complete units from parts after a couple months. I got the frame and then built it out from there compartments , plumbing water and gas, 12v and yep stereos too , steam ovens etc, soda machines and flat top grills to boot. With todays technology it would be leaps and bounds over that in the early 80s.Are you using the quilted metal or flat ? Got Pictures ??:}

    2 panels on the roof and a solar charge system with a good size set of 6 volts agm you could run ever light for a long time if they were LED . Is that the plan ? Use gas for the burners and fridge or 12 volt for the fridge ?

    Moisture, they need moisture besides rotted vegetable material like wood and plants.

    2 or 3 years ago was at a party and it was a very wet summer. Earwigs had exploded and people were seeing them everywhere. Young lady said that the large number of earwigs were proof of global warming, they were moving North. I told her they came from Europe in the early 1900's and were all over the place back East but didn't even make it West to Minnesota until the 1990's. She kept on trying to argue with me about it and said she was a scientist. Long story short she ended up storming off, I don't get invited to a lot of those type of parties anymore which is OK by me. Been relatively dry since then and don't see many if any earwigs around. Hmmm....

    Parties involving people talking about kill it or catch it and grill it or smoke it, you betcha. And how to make bilge wine in empty AFFF fire fighting containers.
