LMAO! sounds about right! Our girls are about 4lbs, but they really are doing great. They just need to be in their little incubators to help regulate their temperate and monitor them. They're progressing really well for being 34 weeks. I know it absolutely could be worse! I just hate to leave them and Mama is still at the hospital. Shes discharged, but rooming in to support babies. Shes having to feed and all that by herself now. Shes being hard on herself.

I know I said a few weeks ago I wasn't equipped to handle this. Sometimes things can be overwhelming. But I am really surprised and proud at how I've done the last week. The military taught me well to just keep trucking with minimal sleep and to sort of desensitize to the realities and suckiness of situations. It is hard, but it doesn't feel hard, if that makes sense.

I'm sure everything will change once these girls get home.

It sounds like you're doing fine! I don't know that anybody can be fully ready for this. You will adapt and overcome, just keep them babies fed and happy and they'll do great too!

She'll get it worked out. I didn't get too many details but our friend had some issues with her boys as well. Sounds like it just takes some people a little time to get it worked out.

Will have to check North Mills out sometime soon. From Google maps looks very promising. Has this gravel road to the blue ridge parkway at least. Probably fit for a Civic but still a nice drive I would imagine.

Mine did the same thing the first month...I think she literally slept 1-2hrs a day.

Best thing you can do is all the chores around the house and getting her anything she may need - bottles, diapers, wipes, burping cloths, etc etc.

Oh, and if anyone that wants to come visit is sick or may be getting over a sickness...you keep their ass the hell away. Make everyone uses hand sanitizer before touching ANYTHING.

We had someone come over that was sick, but covered it up enough where we didn't notice (but found out later on)...baby ended up getting that shit a couple weeks in and we spent another week in the hospital.

Oh I'm having a luxury vinyl planks installed they first put down a moisture barrier which wasn't supposed to be there they took that out but missed parts so they had come back and get the rest of it and the third and fourth time they kept breaking planks because they kept acting like monkeys with hammers trying to get it to fit back into place so I've been waiting pretty much since February to get this floor fixed with Lowe's and they are flipping the bill now it took long enough my wife was least to say pissed off at me for fighting it this much but the whole floor cost $11,000 and it just wasn't a pill I was wanting to swallow for that amount of money so I kept fighting it and now we don't owe for the new floor

Yea I think it is pretty common. I'm not too stressed about it, but I don't really understand it and I never will. I can't possibly put myself in her shoes. I'm just making her life easier so she doesn't have to wrry about anything else but the babies.

F all that mess. If someone makes my child sick.... :censored:

I probably should pick and choose battles better butt I've always been standing up for what's right and never backing down and this is probably the biggest reward I've ever had from not backing down from a fight

oh I totally agree my wife is 7 months pregnant right now so I've already told her that when the baby's born you can see the baby from the road with binoculars

It isn't something play around with thats for sure!!

I am honestly a bit surprised and thankful that we haven't had rando visitors or people pushing boundaries. We didn't announce until Thursday night, and haven't had an issue yet. I don't know about when we get home though.

Decided to take the day off and enjoy a 4 day wknd.
18 hrs of driving in a 3 day wknd whiped me out. I hate that I could do this easy only a few years ago with no problem.

Anyway, in my studio laying some tracks for some future projects.

It's hot out there people. Stay hydrated and keep the doggo's and other pets well hydrated.
