I'm glad I'm not the only one

My cousins husband has been spoiling me, first day with them I got tacos, with peach wood smoked flank steak... holy. fuck.
Then he did pork chops smoked and finished in onions the next night I was here, annnnnnnd all day yesterday he smoked a big ol' hunk of pork shoulder that was shredded by the time I woke up, in time to add it to my fresh cooked eggs and toast..

And I didn't take a damn picture of any of it... :annoyed:

I hope you all had as nice of a Memorial Day weekend as me and my family, the beach was beautiful all three days and I had plenty of time to get a line wet...

Sorry I missed the rest of the post...but new smoker .
at least you're in good company

I also need to do this. I thought I was completing a month long project this weekend. Only to discover that I have a bad corner in the wall of the garage I tore down. So now, to get some rebar and concrete to tie into the old, existing retaining wall. Try to make an improvement to sell the damn place, and it lead to 2 more projects. I need to also build a railing around the damn thing now.

For anybody that has ordered a bumper from Mobtown how long did you actually wait? I ordered a hybrid front bumper from them in March and I’m just curious wait times. The wait is killing me!

Hey guys. I can’t find the comments about that truck show and Tacoma meetup this weekend. Where and when?
    Thank you!

I was told at least 12 weeks for my sliders which is the longest estimated wait time. I want to pick them up and coordinate a couple other things while I'm out there. That is the response I got. at least 12 weeks. My luck I'll be in NC on vacation when they are completed.

I wanted to ask you, how was the guided ride at AOAA? Was it too tame or just right? I am new to offroading, but have a real interest in it. I can't wait to get everything I have lined up done to the truck and get it out. Hopefully an early fall run. The only thing holding up right now is a high clearance rear. I was hoping to find a used one, but will order one next week if I still don't find one.

Seems like they need to hire, get more equipment, or change their advertised lead times.

    So, free stuff:

Stock UCAs from a 3rd gen, 200 miles.
Stock front assembled coilovers (TRDOR), same miles
    Stock rear leaf springs

Fog lights from a 2018 (I can include the harness that goes between the bulbs)
Full bumper cover assy from a 2013 in Pyrite Mica, includes fogs.

Requirements: get them the fuck out of my shop or wait till I go to a wheeling meet, I hate shipping stuff. If we can't make times work I can leave them outside for you.

I am not having much luck tracking down a high clearance rear. It is looking like I am going to have to purchase a new one in order to get one by the time I need it for the rest of the build. I'd like to support Mobtown as they are more local than anyone else, and I have to pick up sliders at some point. I'm just wondering what everyone's preference is for hc rear, and why. I'm really looking for durability and function. I would like something with the extended bedside protection that would double as a tie-down. Thanks for any input on this issue.

Also, are all HC rears designed to come to the bottom of the tail lights? Or would it be best to get the bumper that the bed was cut for? That would limit options, and it seems like most run about the same design and measurements.

    enough to have fun
most come out at the bottom of the tail lights. I have a @Mobtown Offroad rear HC bumper, and love it. Very robust, the attention to detail is great regarding design. For me, a dual sheer spindle for the swingout was a must, and the Mobtown HC rear checks that box off too
